?The Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) Media and Archive Directorate recently issues a documentary booklet on Bahrain’s sports achievements in 2013 as well as its annual report.
The book documents the achievements of the 21 sports federations in the past year by winning 370 medals ( 118 gold, 125 silver and 127 bronze), besides the number of overseas participations in various tournaments and courses held in the GCC, other Arab countries, as well as on the Asian and international levels.
The book also includes international posts enjoyed by representatives of the national sports federations, and tournaments organised on home soil, in addition to BOC strategy, vision and goals, and features a variety of high-resolution photos.
The Media and Archive Directorate also issued the annual report of the committee, which reviews the achievements of all its directorates in terms of activities, besides its domestic events and international involvements such as Olympic-related conferences held on the GCC, Arab and continental levels n the past year.
The Bahrain Olympic Committee will be distributing this booklet as well as the annual report to various sports federations, ministries and government and private state bodies, in addition to media represented in the five daily Arabic newspapers and Information Affairs Authority.
