?The Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Planning and Strategies Directorate hosted its first workshops for the committee staff at its premises in Seef.
The workshop aimed to spread awareness on ways to apply the strategic plans of the committee and present to them the importance of daily planning, long-term planning and short-term planning, in addition to providing them with different skills necessary to conduct these plans.
Planning and Strategies Director Hasan Abdullatif conducted the workshop, who said some of the other objectives include to deliver ways of setting up strategies, their role in the success of these strategies, its importance to the committee and the staff as well as its relationship with the Bahrain Vision 2030.
A total of eight staff took part in discussions, including Nariman Al Saffar (Sports Medicine), Fadi Humaidan (Technical Directorate), Fatima Al Saad (Human Resources), Abdulla Rabea (Financial Resources), Rashid Ebrahim (Services), Fatma Al Atawi (Information Technology) and Maryam Mardana (International Affairs).
It is noteworthy that the strategic objectives of the Bahrain Olympic Committee include the supporting of parties under the supervision of the committee to develop administrative work, strengthening the role of sport in supporting national economy, and deployment of sporting culture in the community.
Other objectives are activating local and international partnerships to strengthen the Bahrain Olympic Committee role, supporting the sports associations to accomplish achievements at various levels, provide education and sports training, and provide health care for the athletes.
