UncategorisedBOC – Education Ministry joint programme concludes

A series of joint courses, organized by the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Sports Training and Development Section in cooperation with the Ministry of Education for physical education teachers, have concluded recently.
The programme, which were organised over five days and sponsored by McDonald’s, included a physical fitness course,  field tests for teachers from Al Ta’awon Secondary Body School and Al Khansa Primary Girls School, a football course for Um Kulthoom Girls School teachers, an athletics course for a group of coaches at Khalifa Sports City Stadium.
Sessions were conducted by Sports Training and Development Section specialist Mahmood Yateem, as well as Mubarak Hamad Faris , Ruqaya Al Ghasara, Mohsen Ali Abdullah and Muhammad Bakhsh, while more than 100 physical education teachers from different government schools taking part.
Bahrain Sports Channel has provided full coverage of these courses and also prepared a series of reports and interviews with the participants.
Yateem said the courses have seen significant interaction from the teachers taking part who admired the content of the courses and the level of instructors, refereeing to a questionnaire which was distributed to the teachers, and showed positive results, which was a motivator for the section to work on the development of this program.
Yateem said the continuation of this joint programme with the Ministry of Education for several consecutive years, and the increasing number of participants is the strongest proof on the great success of the programme, hoping for this cooperation to continue to achieve many benefits for sports in Bahrain.
