?Bahrain will look to capture the volleyball competition gold medal next month when the next GCC Women’s Games kicks off in Muscat. The fourth edition of the Games is due to take place from March 8 to 18.
The nationals hope to improve on their finish at the third edition of the games held on home soil in March 2013, where Bahrain settled for third position.

Al Aradi said the team will enter a closed training programme from tomorrow (Thursday) in coordination with the General Organisation for Youth and Sports’ Talents Identification Programme and the association’s officials, to finalise their preparation before traveling to Muscat.
He noted the outstanding support offered to the team from Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, BOC Women’s Sport Committee chairwoman Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulazizz Al Khalifa and BVA president Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
