?Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar today will head Bahrain’s delegation to the 86th meeting of the Executive Office of Their Highnesses and Excellencies Presidents of GCC National Olympic Committees taking place in Dubai.
Askar will also be attending the Third Sports and Environment Conference, which will also be held in the Emirates later this week.
The 86th meeting of the Executive Office of Their Highnesses and Excellencies Presidents of GCC National Olympic Committees will bring a number of important issues on the office colander, including the vision of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The office will also follow up on the decisions of GCC National Olympic Committees presidents on the initiative of representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and BOC President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to form a panel for GCC sports dispute.  
The regulations of sports games and beach games, in addition to the mechanism of approving sports games organising committees plans, a cooperation project with the kingdoms of Jordan and Morocco, a proposal to honor pioneers in the field of sports, the first GCC Sports Day and the First GCC Junior Sports Games will also be reviewed at the meeting.
Other issues include a number of proposals, such as transferring the premises of the GCC Games Committees, the inclusion of basketball and table tennis at the First GCC Junior Games and the GCC Women’s Games, respectively, the unveiling of the GCC Badminton Organising Committee, and an increment in the GCC Sports Games Organising Committees awards for 2016.
