?Bahrain Olympic Committee acting general secretary Abdulrahman Askar commended the cooperation of the sports associations and their interaction with policies and financial strategies implemented by the committee in an attempt to push forward the kingdom’s sports development.
Askar also thanked the association for their significant response in regards to distribution of the 2014 budget, noting that this fruitful cooperation and the continued partnership will certainly boost all sports action system pillars in Bahrain.
Askar noted the committee, and in line with the directives of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and BOC president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Supreme Council general secretary and BOC vice-president Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, has put the associations on top of its priorities for being a key pillar in the sports system.
He said the cooperation of the associations and their satisfaction with the budget that has been spent this year reflects their awareness of the importance of optimum utilization of financial resources, and embodies their keenness in maintaining public money.
Askar affirmed  that the BOC spares no effort to provide all forms of financial and moral support to all sports associations according to the available resources in order to conduct all its activities and sports programs.
In conclusion, he expressed sincere gratitude to all the sports associations for their responsiveness and cooperation with the BOC, stressing that the committee has put upon themselves to serve and support the national associations, and stands ready to harness all its potential for the success of all national and overseas appearances in order to promote the Kingdom’s reputation and maintain the successes achieved by sports in Bahrain over the past years.
