?Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar asserted the importance of the concerted efforts and working as one team in order to ensure the Kingdom of Bahrain’s participation at the 17th Asian Games which, due to be held in Incheon, in South Korea from September 19 to October 4.
This came at his meeting with the administrative delegation to the Games, headed by Fajer Jassim, assistant director Dr. Nader Jamali and Lounes Madene, administrator Mohammed Sanad Al Rashidi, in addition to the medical staff Hassan Faraj and media team of Hassan Ali Mohammed, cameraman Mohammed Al Rumaili and photographer Ali Al Halwachi. 
Askar was briefed on the final arrangement and preparations made before the team departure to the far East, and called on creating ideal conditions for the national teams participating in the Games in an attempt to help them pull off huge success in this major continental sporting event. 
He said the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and in line with the directives of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and BOC president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, will spare no effort to provide all forms of support and assistance to Bahrain athletes in order to achieve the aspired results.
