?Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Khayat was named new president of the associations as per decision taken by Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Other members of the new board include Abdulla Al Shaikh, Faisal Kanoo, Omar Bukamal, Suha Matar, Khalid Al Hassan, Ahmed Mubarak, Abduljalil Al Ansari, Mohammed Al Sayed and Mohammed Al Mansoori.
These decisions were as per reviewing the associations and social, cultural clubs and private bodies in the field of youth and sports promulgated by legislative decree No. 21 of 1989 , as amended.
They were also as per the model regulations of the sports federations statute issued by president of the General Organization for Youth and Sports (2) of 1990, as amended, as well as Bahrain Olympic Committee statute, approved by the General Assembly of the Committee.
