Al Khalaf International has joined parties in supporting the 2016 Olympic Day, which is due to commence tomorrow (Saturday).
The 2016 Olympic Day is organized by the BOC and will take place over the next 10 days. It main objective is to maintain young people’s interest in sport, encouraging them to practise sport and promote the Olympic values.
At the sponsorship presentation ceremony, BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar received the sponsorship from Al Khalaf International managing director Tareq Mohammed Khalaf Al Mutawa’a.
Askar extended his gratitude to Al Khalaf International for its initiative, which underlines the company’s commitment to support sports activities in the kingdom.
On his part, Al Mutawa’a said he was pride to step forward and sponsor this major national gathering, which is patronized by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, and BOC President.
Al Mutawa’a also noted the distinctive reputation of the BOC in organising different sports events, which motivated the company to offer its support to the event, and wished the committee success in bringing this year’s Olympic Day.
