?Physical Education and Physiotherapy College Dean at the University of Bahrain Dr. Mona Saleh Al Ansari said Bahrain hosting the 56th ICHPER.SD Anniversary World Congress and Exposition will shed the light on the kingdom as a leading nation in embracing scientific conferences.
This four-day event, to be held from December 18 to 21, is organized by the Bahrain Olympic Committee and is taking place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Manama.
Dr. Al Ansari noted that Bahrain was and still a pioneer in this aspect, and would have a positive influence on the national and regional levels.
She stated that this congress will have a positive impact on the students and researchers in the field of physical education to take advantage of the experience of the scientists attending the event.
Dr. Al Ansari added that that the role of the Scientific Committee will be focused on “filtering” and following up the research papers of the participants and select the ones suitable for the themes of the conference, noting that research are now ready, and will be assembled and delivered in time before the start of the sessions.
“It is possible to present the research, either orally, or posted,” said Dr. Al Ansari. “One of the Scientific Committee tasks is to choose heads of the committees to manage the sessions and its presenters, as well as reformulating the recommendations and present them at the closing session,” she added.
“Perhaps rhetoric has recently became unconvincing. What is required now is the practical implementation of the recommendations and its outputs in any conference. Recommendations’ implementation must be applied in real life in order to achieve the aspired development in the sports field”.
Dr. Al Ansari said it’s important for the continuation of the partnership between the triangle parts – the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the General Organization for Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Education and universities, and effectively contribute to the upgrading the outputs of sport in the Kingdom.?
