?The Bahrain Olympic Committee offered national teams young athletes free entry tickets for the upcoming U-19 AFC Football Championship, scheduled to run from October 13 to 30 in Bahrain.
National teams’ members with academic excellence, as well as their parents, were presented these tickets as part of a special reception ceremony at the Bahrain Olympic Committee premises in Seef.
This first-of-its-kind initiative was revealed by Bahrain Football Association marketing committee chairman Aref Al Mannai during his visit to the BOC offices along with tournament mascot ‘Qanas’.
Al Mannai noted the BFA will coordinate with the BOC to distribute these tickets to the athletes soon to attend the competition of one of Asia’s top football championships where the best 16 nations fight it out for the trophy.
