?Representatives of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) had  its concluding meeting with the sports associations that will send its respective disciplines for the 17th Asian Games which, set to take place in Incheon, in South Korea from September 19 to October 4.
During the meeting, chief of delegation Fajer Jassim made a presentation on the latest arrangements made in Incheon in regards to accommodation, transports and reception of the Bahrain teams’ delegations expected to arrive next week for the Games.
Fajer noted that the administrative delegation will spare no effort in ensuring the comfort of the Bahrain delegation and the athletes during their stay in Incheon.
Also at the meeting, which was attended by assistant chief of delegation Dr. Nader Jamali, technical director Lounes Madene and administrator Hamad Al Baker, the administrative delegation representatives answered all queries of the sports associations.
Attending the meeting from the associations side were Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa (Royal Equestrian and Endurance), Yousef Al Thawadi (Triathlon), Fahad Al Khathlan (Handball), Aref Mersal (Bowling), Dawood Al Manea (Shooting), Ebrahim Hazeem (Maritime Sports), Shubbar Al Wedaie (Cycling).
Meanwhile, the first batch of the administrative delegation, comprising Fajer Jassim, Lounes Madene and Mohammed Al Burshaid, will head for Incheon today (September 11) to finalise certain arrangements ahead of the arrival of the remaining Bahrain delegations.
Hamad Al Baker and Mohammed Al Rashidi will then join the trio on Monday (October 15), while Nader Al Jamali, along with physiotherapist Hasan Faraj, journalist Hassan Ali, photographer Ali Al Halwachi and cameraman Mohammed Al Rumaili, will be traveling on Wednesday (October 17).
