?Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) Information Technology director Nawaf Abdulrahman attended recently Government Digital Empower Event at ART Rotana Hotel, Amwaj islands, in Muharraq.
Abdulrahman was the guest speaker during the event, which was held under the auspices of Mohamed Ali Al Qaed, Chief Executive of Information and eGovernment Authority (IGA).
The meeting hosted all Information technology decision makers in the government of Bahrain, as Abdulrahman shared the success story of the Bahrain Olympic Committee in their quest for an optimized utilization of technology and innovation.
In his presentation, Abdulrahman brought up a number of key projects and services applied by his directorate at the Bahrain Olympic Committee, including the centralised Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Management Solution.
Abdulrahman, along with more than 200 other Information technology representatives, were also awarded a Plaque of Appreciation by Microsoft during the same event in appreciation to their efforts and contributions at their respective organisations.
Microsoft addressed the audience on its commitment to deliver a trusted cloud and innovating productivity and mobility solutions supported by a vast network of device, software and services partners, all enable workers in every government organization to do more and achieve more for the institutions, businesses and citizens they serve.
