Twenty two coaches attended the a level three National Coaching Programme course, organized by the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) Sports Training and Development Section in cooperation with the Coaching Association of Canada.
Held at the Sports Training and Development Section premises in Juffair, this seven-chapter course focused a number of significant issues which aimed to develop the coaches and enrich the training process at different sports disciplines in the kingdom.
Participants included coaches from Saudi Arabia – Fadel Abbas and Ali Al Garni, in addition to 20 from Bahrain. They included Abdulrahman Mohammed, Ali Al Mosawi, Ebrahim Ghuloom, Aziz Ahmed, Edris Al Rukaibat, Hassan Ali and Jaffer Abdulla.
The remaining coaches were Rashid Burshaid, Faouzi Abdulla, Saad Al Dossary, Abbas Touq, Ali Abdulmajeed, Khalifa Al Zayani, Ali Rajab, Jassim Johar, Mohammed Naji, Mishael Al Thawadi, Salem Al Amiri, Abdulla Shamsan and Fatma Al Mudaweb.
The course was run by a team of experienced instructors in the field of sports training. They were Nabeel Taha, Dr Hussain Jaffer, Mahmood Yateem and Ali Al Anzoor.
Taha, who is also head of the Sports Training and Development Section, thanked Chevron Bahrain and McDonald’s Restaurant for their continued support and backing to the National Coaching Programme.
