?A Level 2 Course, part of the National Coaching Programme, was underway recently at the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Olympic Academy in Juffair.
Twenty-two coaches from Bahrain and other Gulf countries have signed up for this course, which continues until March 3, and is in line with an agreement signed between the Bahrain Olympic Committee and the Coaching Association of Canada, to qualify national coaches in different sports.
Olympic Academy training and development executive coordinator Mahmood Yateem said the course will bring a number of subject, including sports disputes, sports planning, mental preparation and anti-doping.
These themes will be presented by certified instructors Adel Al Asfoor, Mohsin Ali, Nabeel Taha and Ali Al Anzoor, while Hussain Ali is the general supervisor of the course.
