?A sports management course, organized by the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) Olympic Academy, concluded recently at Asdal Gulf Inn Hotel in Seef area.
Sixteen sports officials – representing national sports associations, the Supreme Councuil for Youth and Sports and the BOC – attended the course, which was in compliance with the Olympic Solidarity Committee programmes.
The course focused on one theme ‘Human Resources’, in which instructor Sumaya Galadari explained how to organize the human resources structures at various sports authorities as they represent a fundamental pillar in achieving the objectives and aspirations of those bodies.
The Olympic Academy had launched its sports management diploma programme in 2018 with the theme ‘strategic management’, followed by ‘sports management’, both of which were presented by Abdulreda Al Mousawi.
The third course was titled ‘financial affairs management’ by Batool Assiri, while the fourth was presented by Lounes Madene with following the theme ‘sports activities management’.
The sixth and concluding course of the programme is scheduled take place from November 19 to 21, and is to be presented by Hisham Al Shehabi, at the end of which all the participants will perform a study case before they are submitted to the Olympic Solidarity Committee for evaluation.
